Cut roof shingles easily and with precision thanks to the Qual-Craft Shingle Shark Shingle Cutter. You'll be able to make accurate and repeatable cuts at any angle, as well as lengthwise cuts for a starter row along the edge of the roof. This versatile machine cuts through a variety of different shingle materials, featuring an adjustable blade for optimum cutting action. With built-in safety features, a self-cleaning cutting arm, and sturdy construction, the Shingle Shark will make your roofing work faster.Versatility to Cut at Any Angle
The Qual-Craft Shingle Shark makes clean cuts at any angle through asphalt, fiberglass, and laminated shingles. Thanks to its adjustable, self-cleaning blade, you get uninterrupted cutting action without needing to sharpen or replace the blade.
The crosscut guide easily adjusts a full 180 degrees for any angle. It cuts face up or face down, and from either the top or the bottom. For starter rows, it will make lengthwise and ridge cuts. For supreme convenience, there are two offset hole options--one for metric, the other for Imperial/USA shingles.
Valuable Tool for Professional and Home Applications
Professional contractors and weekend do-it-yourselfers will appreciate the Shingle Shark's powerful blade and stable build as they move from project to project. Thanks to its simple use, workers can put an end to jagged cuts that often result from cutting shingles by hand with a knife. Though the cutter comes with a standard guide, an offset guide for 18-inch architectural shingles can also be added.
Built for Safety and Durability
The Shingle Shark comes with a safety latch for the cutter, and can be securely mounted on roofs three different ways: using a cleat, footing the tool against a piece of 2-by-10 lumber, or using a 6-inch by 90-degree roof bracket. Rubber feet provide added gripping power. For durability, the tool is constructed of cold rolled steel with a powder coat paint finish. The sturdy open mesh table keeps its weight down to 52 pounds.
